Don Chapman is a multi-award winning bilingual recording, mixing, mastering engineer, producer and musician. He has been immersed in music his entire life.
Studying at Berklee College of Music (Boston) and apprenticing at Halifax’s Solar Audio (1985-94), Don also continued performing with Eastern Canada’s best throughout Canada, United States, Mexico, Central and South America, Iceland and much of Europe with various artists, and for CBC Radio and Television: Country Centreville; Double Etoile; En Spectacle; Boite a Chansons; Pour L’Amour du Country 2003-Present; Makusham 2008-2012; Gala de La Chanson de Caraquet 1995-2005; Gatineau 2005. CTV, APTN, Global Television, CHUM, Q107/Q104 Radio Networks in Canada and the Fox TV Network in the United States. Don is also a founding member of Atlantic Canada’s DRUM! production.
His insatiable interest in analog and digital recording techniques, and his skills as an audio consultant, led him to establish DC Productions.
